Description:We are seeking two emergency medicine physicians to join our team.The need arises from increased volume in the emergency department.The positions will involve on-site shifts with call coverage, including weekends and nights.There are no specific dates required for the shifts.The candidates will not need to provide any call coverage, as shifts will be the standard ED hours.Orientation will include shadow shifts based on previous experience.Candidates must possess ABEM certification.Credentialing will require case logs for review.The emergency department has approximately 30 treatment spaces, with an average daily census of 115 patients.The unit sees a 25% admission rate and is equipped for handling moderate to high acuity cases.All necessary specialties are available for consults in line with a level 3 trauma center.The support staff includes nurses, techs, paramedics, and security personnel.The primary procedures required include intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion, conscious sedation, fracture reduction, and laceration repair.The shift coverage typically consists of four physicians in the main emergency department and two physicians in the free-standing emergency department.
