Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining the physician panel, working with physicians within pre-established guidelines, and onboarding new physicians based on client needs.

Contract Processing

  • Coordinate credentialing and contracting process documents.
  • Ensure new contracts are completed quickly and fee agreements are correct for current or new panel reviewers.
  • Understand client fee schedules and TAT requirements to respond to physician agreement requests.

Panel Maintenance

  • Maintain and update physician profiles, including instructions, fees, group assignments, deactivations/reactivations, and W9 remit changes.

Documentation

Use of Salesforce is a plus. Attention to detail is required for complete provider records.

Onboarding New Physicians

  • Oversee administrative tasks related to maintaining the physician panel.
  • Onboard new physicians based on client needs.
  • Negotiate costs and contract terms within pre-established guidelines.
  • Obtain and process paperwork: Agreement, Application, CV, W9, NPDB.

Work with the Director of Operations to set fees for agreements.

Provide dictation and AccessDS instructions.

DocuSign Coordination

  • Submit and track DocuSign documents: Application, Agreement, FCRA Form, Contractor Rules of Behavior, Authorization for Credentialing.

Training Documents

  • Submit training materials and handle follow-ups: VBA MDE TRAIN, LS Training Module List.

Additional Support

Assist physician reviewers with technical or case inquiries.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Credentials: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Physician recruitment experience in healthcare/insurance or equivalent skills. Business experience in healthcare/insurance preferred.

Skills/Competencies: Knowledge of physician networks, medical terminology, compliance guidelines; negotiation, communication, organizational skills; computer literacy.

Working Conditions: Physical activities as needed; long periods of sitting and computer work.

Work from Home Tech Requirements: Own internet service; maintaining connection is required.
