Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Pediatric residency and a Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship training program.
• Board eligible/certified in Neonatal – Perinatal Medicine.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
• Experience as a Neonatologist required.

Fairview is seeking a Casual Neonatology physician to help on an as needed basis to cover shifts at Fairview Southdale Hospital. Ability and flexibility needed to cover additional Fairview sites; Fairview St. John's, Ridges and Woodwinds Hospitals.

Practice Details

• Schedule is based on an as needed bases
• Shifts: variable, typically 24 hour shift length
• Home call available
• Provide comprehensive care to newborns and premature infants
• Evaluate the physical and mental development of newborns
• Perform assessments of infants’ health, including ordering and interpreting lab and imaging tests
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans
• Advise parents on infant care and nutrition
• Attend deliveries and provide emergency care for newborns

• Neonatal Nurse Practitioners on Staff 24/7
