WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC, is seeking a well-trained, Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our Cardiovascular Medicine Group at the Franciscan Health Heart and Vascular Institute Olympia Fields in Olympia Fields, IL. The ideal candidate should be collegial, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The provider will also enjoy working in a community hospital teaching environment with a diverse patient population.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• High procedural volume (≥75 PCIs in the first year)
• Protected/dedicated Cath lab time
• On-call duty of one in four
• Supportive collaboration with interventional and surgical CV teams
• Opportunities to participate in noninvasive CV diagnostics and clinical services

WHO WE ARE:

Franciscan Health Olympia Fields is the largest academic medical center in the south Chicago suburbs. It features modern facilities, including two hybrid-capable Cath labs, a dual-purpose Electrophysiology lab, and an Interventional Radiology lab. The center is equipped with advanced cardiovascular imaging tools such as echo, CT, and nuclear imaging. The environment is pleasant and aesthetically pleasing, fostering congeniality among colleagues.

Our cardiology group is part of Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC (SPI), a multispecialty group with 60 physicians and 20 APPs, wholly owned by Franciscan Alliance. The group offers comprehensive cardiac subspecialty services. You will join experienced interventional cardiologists, an EP physician, non-invasive cardiologists, and CV-APPs. SPI serves as your referral base, supported by an active Emergency Department, ensuring a busy and stimulating practice environment. We are the exclusive cardiac service providers to the hospital.

The patient demographic is ethnically and financially diverse, with complex and acute cases from our large ED, providing an intellectually stimulating practice for staff and trainees alike.

• Competitive salary with a 2-year guarantee, including a $25K sign-on bonus and a $25K retention bonus at the start of year two
