CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to help establish a new practice location in Sulphur Springs, TX.

The staffing model will include a Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician and full office staff, including clerical and front office staff, medical assistants, and nursing staff, managed by an experienced clinic administrative team.

The physician/APC team will provide 24/7 hospital coverage, with STEMI coverage to be determined by the local cardiology department. After-hours and weekend STEMI cases can be transferred by ground or air ambulance to other system facilities, as decided by local cardiologists, allowing the clinical team to focus on other responsibilities.

CHRISTUS Mother Frances is a 94-bed community hospital featuring a busy 24/7 emergency room, an advanced cardiac cath lab capable of invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures and device implants, a critical care unit, and comprehensive noninvasive capabilities including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

This new team will join one of the largest multispecialty clinics in Texas within the CHRISTUS Healthcare system, which includes over 1400 clinicians, 50+ cardiologists and APCs, and 7 hospitals serving more than 10 communities. The clinic operates as a Texas 501a not-for-profit organization with a physician-led board of directors.

The system emphasizes a strong dyad leadership model that partners physicians and administrators. CHRISTUS Mother Frances's multispecialty clinic is expanding rapidly, now comprising 18 primary care providers serving a referral base of over 50,000+ with established referral relationships across physicians, APCs, and emergency services.

Sulphur Springs is located 80 miles from Dallas, offering a growing business community, excellent schools, vibrant downtown, parks, sports facilities, a country club, and multiple recreational amenities including lakes, trails, and parks.
