Cardiology Opening - Indianapolis
Seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Non-Invasive Cardiology (with an interest in heart failure and/or advanced cardiology as a preference but not a prerequisite).
Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Join a large, collegial group at a tertiary care center with no overnight call responsibilities, excellent APP support, and a collaborative clinical pod structure.
- Gradual increase in annual time-off, starting with 40 days of PTO by year 3.
- No overnight call duties.
- Pod-based clinic structure with dedicated support team managing clinical workflows (e.g., inbox management, surgical clearances, peer-to-peer, refill management, medical records).
- Utilization of EPIC system for inpatient and outpatient documentation.
- Average outpatient volume: 11-22 patients per day, depending on the clinic schedule.
- Weekend/Holiday Call: 1 in 5 weeks.
- Short call: approximately one evening every 4-5 weeks, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Customized approach for inpatient versus outpatient responsibilities.
- Access to state-of-the-art labs, including Phillips systems with Flex Vision screens, latest software, Clarity software, and multiple data ports for TEE/CCTA imaging.
- Availability of advanced cardiac imaging: CT (including CT-FFR), MRI (stress and 4D flow imaging), and vascular imaging.
- Participation in a cutting-edge structural heart program.
- Support for outreach locations.
- Robust clinical research program with over 50 active clinical trials, including investigator-initiated studies.
