Job summary

CompHealth is helping a North Carolina cardiology group recruit a general cardiologist for an employed opening in Hickory. The team includes six board-certified cardiologists and five APPs in a collaborative setting.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule, hospital employment, and access to onsite noninvasive testing and rehabilitation services in a Chest Pain Center environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible cardiologist.
• Current medical license in North Carolina.
• DEA registration and BLS/ACLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide general inpatient and outpatient cardiology services.
• Collaborate with 6 cardiologists and 5 APPs in an employed practice.
• Provide patient care with minimal administrative duties.
• Utilize onsite noninvasive testing and rehab programs.

Located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hickory has a temperate climate and abundance of natural resources. You will be just minutes from Lake Norman, the largest lake in North Carolina with upscale lake shore communities, eateries, and recreational opportunities. You will also be close to both Charlotte and Asheville.

• Heart Failure Access Clinic and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation available
• Located in Hickory, NC - approximately 1 hour from Charlotte
• Board-certified or board-eligible candidates welcome; DEA required
