Job summary

CompHealth is recruiting an electrophysiology physician for a 100% EP-focused position in North Carolina. The role entails a balanced inpatient/outpatient mix with a Monday–Friday schedule and no EP-specific call requirement.

The candidate will perform A-fib ablations and manage EP devices, including AICD/ICD and pacemakers, onsite, with about 15–18 clinic patients and 3–4 procedures daily. Hospital-employed, not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with A-fib ablations.
• Experience performing EP procedures including ablations.
• Ability to manage EP devices (AICD/ICD, pacemakers).
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday with no EP-specific call.
• Experience in a hospital-employed environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform device management for AICD/ICD and pacemakers onsite.
• See ~15–18 clinic patients and 3–4 procedures per day.
• Maintain a balanced inpatient/outpatient EP workflow.
• Collaborate with EP APP and regional EP coverage teams.

Located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hickory has a temperate climate and abundance of natural resources. You will be just minutes from Lake Norman, the largest lake in North Carolina with upscale lake shore communities, eateries, and recreational opportunities. You will also be close to both Charlotte and Asheville.
