The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Cardiologist to provide comprehensive patient care, including surgery and consults. Incumbent will work as a Cardiologist in all aspects of patient care including surgery and inpatient/outpatient care, as well as a call rotation. Accepting inpatient and outpatient consults from Primary Care and other Specialty clinic providers. The Cardiologist is accountable to the Chief of Cardiology.

To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending the completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Currently employed physicians in VA who met the requirements for appointment under the previous standard are deemed to have met the basic requirements.
Additional Requirement: Incumbent must meet all educational requirements for a Cardiologist for Federal employment and credentialing.
Preferred Experience: Experience working as a Cardiologist.
