Job summary

Optimal Care - Evergreen seeks a Physician Services Billing Coordinator to manage claims from submission to resolution across Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with payer requirements while supporting the financial health of Physician Services.

The role involves monitoring claim status, rebilling rejected claims, preparing weekly reports, and coordinating with internal teams to optimize reimbursement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree and accounting-related experience.
• Minimum 3 years billing experience in a clinical care or Physician Service setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Respond to payer inquiries and resolve claim issues.
• Monitor claim status and rebill rejected or past-due claims.
• Prepare weekly reimbursement/ Accounts reviews reports.
• Communicate with payer sources and internal teams to resolve outstanding issues.
