Premise Health Inc. is seeking a part-time Physician Assistant to provide high-quality primary care at our Health Center in Downtown Pittsburgh, PA. The role supports client employees with autonomous clinical decision-making in a friendly, weekday-only clinic.

You will work 3 days per week (Mon–Fri availability) with 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. hours and no evenings or weekends. Competitive pay and benefits are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Current NCCPA certification required.
• ARC-PA accredited program degree.
• State licenses/certifications to practice.
• Federal DEA license matching state(s).
• Three years of clinical PA experience in ambulatory care or related settings.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required per contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records with up-to-date documentation.

Looking for a flexible, part-time Physician Assistant role where you can make a meaningful impact in a primary care setting? Join our team at the Health Center in Downtown Pittsburgh, PA, providing high-quality, personalized care to client employees.

The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a schedule of 3 days per week, including Mondays and Fridays. We’re looking for an experienced, independent provider who is comfortable making autonomous clinical decisions and managing patients from start to finish without heavy supervision. What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).
• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration).
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
