Summary
The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider responsible for the assessment and management of various patient populations. This includes diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, developing appropriate care plans, and ongoing patient evaluation.

Essential Functions
- Provides direct patient care, counseling, and education in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
- Performs comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Develops and modifies care plans based on diagnostic findings and patient progress.
- Prescribes medications and documents all clinical notes and procedures accurately and timely.
- Performs bedside procedures appropriate to the patient population.
Education
Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies required.

Licenses and Credentials
Valid Physician Assistant license in the state required.
Experience
Experience as a licensed Physician Assistant preferred.

- Proficient in taking medical histories and assessing medical conditions.

- Able to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
