The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be a key clinical member of a multidisciplinary group, handling inpatient and outpatient care, orders, and coordination of care with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and staff.
Responsibilities include H&Ps, admissions, discharges, labs, imaging, and patient education, with participation in research and quality initiatives.

The Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC), a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center affiliated with UT Southwestern Medical Center, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Solid Tumor team. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant serves as a key clinical provider within a highly specialized, multidisciplinary team, working in close collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and support staff. The CUH Inpatient Solid Tumor APP focuses on the hospital-based care of patients with known and unknown oncologic disease. They are key members of a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and allied health care providers. Advanced Practice Provider care includes History and Physicals, admissions, discharges, interpreting laboratory values, radiograph interpretation and other diagnostics, care of research patients, coordination of care, progress notes, family and patient education, referrals, and prescription of medications both inpatient and outpatient.
Variable 10° and 12° shifts (one weekend per month and holidays)
