Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking an experienced, autonomous Physician Assistant to join our clinical team in skilled nursing facilities.

You will manage your own panel and provide primary and episodic care, building long-term relationships with residents and their families. The role offers 6-hour shifts, no on-call or overnights, charting from home, and productivity-based pay with potential to earn up to $624 per day plus retention incentives.

Qualifications

• Board certification required - active and unrestricted.
• Valid, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of operation.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant with an accredited program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16-20 patients per day across long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Perform annual wellness visits and H&Ps; manage chronic and co-morbid conditions.
• Respond to acute changes and coordinate with collaborating physicians, specialists, and facility staff.
• Stay in touch with families and join care conferences where it makes sense.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, autonomous Physician Assistant to join our clinical team, providing primary and episodic care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. This is an independent role built around continuity - you'll manage your own panel and build long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Your Day-to-Day
