Job summary

Aevum Behavioral Health in Lynchburg, VA is seeking compassionate and skilled Physician's Assistant for part-time positions to provide in-person, patient-centered mental health care to residents of skilled nursing facilities.

You will design flexible schedules with administrative support handling billing, credentialing, and scheduling, while delivering psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted license as a Physician's Assistant (RPA-C).
• Clinical experience and knowledge of psychiatry/mental health is required.
• Experience in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems.
