Job summary

Aevum Behavioral Health in Virginia is seeking compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for part-time positions to provide in-person, patient-centered mental health care to residents of skilled nursing facilities.

Set your own schedule with flexible hours while our administrative team handles scheduling, billing, collections, and credentialing so you can focus on clinical care. PMHNP-BC certification is required; active NP license and EHR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Certification in psychiatry/mental health (PMHNP-BC) is required.
• Experience in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems.
