Job summary

ISHE is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Boise VA Healthcare System under the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model. You will deliver direct patient care in a primary care setting, coordinating with RNs, LPNs, and other clinicians to manage a panel of Veterans.

The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, preventive care, and teamwork. Relocation/recruitment incentives may be authorized; EDRP eligibility applies for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• PA evaluates and treats patients within the PACT primary care team.
• Prescribes medications within scope of practice.
• Participates in care coordination and health promotion.

Responsibilities

• Perform histories and physicals for outpatients.
• Provide ongoing outpatient and inpatient care.
• Order diagnostic tests when needed; review results.
