Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for a Primary Care role in Central Texas. The position emphasizes comprehensive patient care across lifespan, with startups in a collaborative Enhanced Care Team model and ample mentoring for new graduates.

Clinic operates Monday–Friday with some extended hours and Saturday half-days. The role includes procedural opportunities and ongoing support from physicians and a diverse care team.

Qualifications

• Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant (PA).
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and obtain histories.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics to assess health needs.
• Prescribe medications and perform procedures per protocols.
• Counsel patients and families on health plans, medications, and prevention.
• Develop and carry out treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
