Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for a Medical Specialty role in Texas. The provider will deliver direct patient care, operate within supervising physician scope, and participate in specialty clinics such as cardiology, endocrinology, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities include comprehensive exams, test interpretation, medication therapy, and patient counseling, with duties extending to inpatient or procedural settings as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Texas PA license within 30 days of hire.
• Current NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and takes medical histories.
• Orders and interprets diagnostics tests.
• Prescribes therapies following protocols and safety guidelines.
• Develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans with physicians.
• Counsels patients and families on treatments and medications.
• Maintains accurate patient records and coordinates referrals.
• Provides specialty clinic services within scope of practice.
