Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and PA program completed.
• Active PA license in the practicing state with NCCPA certification.
• 3+ years of PA experience in ambulatory care or similar settings.
• 5+ years in Internal Medicine or Family Practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures.
• Develops and implements patient management plans and records progress.
• Counsels patients on treatment adherence and health maintenance.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
• Prepares care plans with physicians and other health professionals.
• Prescribes medications where allowed; refers to specialists as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
