Job summary

Scarborough Health Network in Canada is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Plastics Clinic (GEN). The PA will work under the supervision of physicians across ambulatory clinics and inpatient units, focusing on screening, assessment, treatment, and monitoring.

Responsibilities include patient navigation, applying standard processes, order sets, discharge planning, and collaboration with the Ortho Trauma team. Proficiency with EPIC is an asset.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Canadian PA Education Program.
• Certification from the PACCC preferred.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Screening, initial assessment, streaming, treatment and monitoring of plastics patients.
• Perform physical examinations, assess tests and communicate progress to the team.
• Discharge planning, medical order entry and collaboration with Ortho Trauma team.
