SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provide comprehensive high-quality care to Pediatric Pulmonary patients as part of the Inpatient Pediatric Pulmonary service. Will be responsible for clinically assessing and examining and reviewing EMR, writing notes, entering orders, arranging discharges, and rounding. This position will see patients in the PIMCU, NICU, ED and on pediatric general ward. This position is mostly inpatientbut has the option of doing a post-hospital follow-up clinic.This position will be 10 hours each day four times a week Monday ? Friday, dayshift only.Three of these days will be in the hospital one day will be administrative mainly consisting of helping out with patient messages etc. No weekends and no major holidays. This position will take call every other Thursday. When one of the Advanced Practice Providers is off that week the other APP will work 8 hours each day five times a week Monday ? Friday, dayshift only.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
• National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.
• Relevant experience preferred.
