Job summary

HealthTexas in San Antonio, TX seeks a Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care under licensed physician supervision. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, interpret labs, and help develop and implement patient care plans while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certified by NCCPA and licensed as a PA in Texas.
• DEA license or ability to obtain before employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete medical history and perform physical exams.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging as appropriate.
• Develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans with physician supervision.
• Provide patient education and counseling on medications and health maintenance.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and records.
• Triages patient calls and participates in clinics as needed.
