Indian Health Service in Camp Verde, Arizona, seeks a Physician Assistant to deliver outpatient, patient-centered care focusing on health promotion and disease prevention. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic and preventive services, educate patients, and participate in community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master of Physician Assistant Studies or related master's with accredited PA program.
• Successful NCCPA certification and CME requirements.
• Current full and unrestricted PA licensure.

Responsabilités

• Provides comprehensive therapeutic and preventative health services to individual patients, family members and patient groups in an outpatient setting.
• Identifies and manages specific illnesses and preventive aspects of these illnesses.
• Familiarizes self with the social, geographic, demographic, economic and epidemiological characteristics of the assigned communities and orients staff on health care issues.
• Precepts students and serves in a teaching capacity for other health care workers.
