Job summary

Indian Health Service in Utah seeks a Physician Assistant to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and comprehensive treatment.

You will be involved in teaching and precepting students, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to tribal health initiatives. A recruitment/relocation sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current, active Physician Assistant license.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Must maintain CME requirements and licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive therapeutic and preventive health services in outpatient settings.
• Identify and manage illnesses and preventive aspects of care.
• Orient staff, tribal members, health board and tribal leaders on relevant health issues.
• Teach and precept students and developing health care workers.
