Qualifications

• Graduation from a PA program accredited by ARC-PA or its predecessors.
• Successful certification by NCCPA and maintenance of CME requirements.
• Current, active PA license in the United States.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain medical staff privileges as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive therapeutic and preventive health services in an outpatient setting.
• Identify and manage illnesses and preventive care for patients.
• Familiarize staff and leaders in community health issues and orientations.
• Teach and precept new health care workers and students.
• Collaborate with physicians to plan and manage patient care.
