Banner Health in Colorado is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery team. The PA will round on hospital patients, see clinic patients, and provide surgical first assist in the OR, collaborating with 9 physicians and 11 PAs.

Qualifications

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Prescribing privileges including DEA license for controlled substance.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
• 4+ years of Orthopedic experience required.

Responsibilities

• See patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic and provide surgical first aid in the OR.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment.

Our APP will round on patients in the hospital; see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic and provide surgical first assist in the OR. Qualified candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.

Essential Functions and Requirements:

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
• Prescribing privileges including DEA license for controlled substance.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
• 4+ years of Orthopedic experience required.

Practice Details:

• Full-time
• Mon - Fri | 3 days in clinic and 2 days in OR
• Practice includes: 9 Physicians, 11 PAs, Dedicated MA, and support staff.
• Call required
• Salary: $131K - 156K + call pay (dependent on experience)
