Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago, IL is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a busy orthopedic surgery team specializing in hand, wrist and elbow care. You will assist in the clinic and operating room, educate patients, and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Required: graduate of an accredited PA program, current Illinois PA license or willingness to apply, NCCPA certification, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Illinois PA license or willingness to apply.
• Certified by NCCPA.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in clinic and operating room settings.
• Close collaboration with the team to provide medical care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up.
• Perform comprehensive patient examinations and document health data.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate.
• Travel to clinics in Chicago, Oak Brook, and Gold Coast Surgicenter as needed.
