$93,891.00/yr - $134,160.00/yr

UCHealth Internal Medicine - Printers Park team in Colorado Springs, CO is ready to welcome a bright, hard-working Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to their team. • 1+ years of experience in internal medicine is preferred.

Required: Family Nurse Practitioner candidates must have full prescriptive authority to be considered for this position.

Requirements for Physician Assistants

• Master's degree in physician assistant studies
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Colorado.
• Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by NCCPA is required for hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in practice.
• Eligible for services reimbursable by Medicare and Medicaid.
• No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA's List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs.
• Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges.
• Prescriptive authority as per medical staff privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.

Requirements for Nurse Practitioners

• Master's degree in nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Nurse Practitioner Certification from ANCC or AANPCB.
• Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice or multi-state compact privileges.
• Unrestricted medical staff membership, with practice privileges.
• Full prescriptive authority.
• Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications.
• Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
• No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
