Reno Orthopedic Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the Pain Management team in Reno. You will work primarily in the downtown clinic with occasional travel to the Carson City clinic, about four days a month.
The role focuses on patient care in the clinic, with possible exposure to pain procedures after onboarding. The position offers full-time hours, with a schedule of 4 or 5 days per week and the potential to see up to twenty patients daily.
Join us as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) on our Pain Management team at Reno Orthopedic Center! You would work under our Pain Management physician, a newly established specialty service offered at ROC to help patients get back to what they love doing. Love seeing patients in clinic? This position is for you. A little more info about what you would do: You would work primarily at our Main Reno downtown location, with some travel to our Carson City clinic (around 4 days per month). You would work primarily in clinic. Assisting in some pain management procedures may come after being fully onboarded - seeing patients in clinic is the priority. The schedule can be either 4 or 5 days per week, full time, building to an estimated 20 patients per day. Experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (especially in a related specialty area or setting) is helpful but not required - we are always willing to teach! Active Nevada professional license with no license restrictions (PA-C or APRN*). *Nurse Practitioners must be certified to see patients of all ages (FNP). Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience working as a PA/NP in an orthopedic hospital/clinic setting.
Travel: This position may require travel based on clinic needs.
