Shifts are three 12-hour blocks per week with flexible scheduling; no after-hours tasks and predictable monthly schedules. Competitive hourly pay plus bonus eligibility, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and full benefits.

Qualificações

• Active Texas license as NP/PA required.
• NP: ANCC or AANP certification; PA: NCCPA certification.
• DEA license active or ability to obtain.
• BLS certification active.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound care as applicable.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document patient care in the EHR accurately and efficiently.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity in line with urgent care benchmarks.

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM/Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, seven days a week

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + bonus eligibility

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Marble Falls, TX. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting

• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• NP: ANCC or AANP certification required; FNP required
• PA: NCCPA certification required
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
• Strong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Experience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read
