NextCare Urgent Care in Georgetown, Texas seeks a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. The clinician will work in an urgent care setting with a mix of acute and routine visits, in a fast-paced, well-supported environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license.
• Board certification: FNP through ANCC or AANP.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Active BLS certification.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (fees covered).
• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound management.

• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days a week

Position Summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Georgetown, Texas. Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license
• Board certification: Nurse Practitioner: FNP certification through ANCC or AANP
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
• Strong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read
• Confidence practicing independently in a high-volume urgent care setting
