Job summary

Healthcare Recruitment Counselors is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a busy urgent care in Franklin Park, NJ. You’ll evaluate patients of all ages, perform urgent care exams, and implement treatment plans in a modern, on-site diagnostics facility.

The role offers a full-time schedule with a strong team, bonus potential, health and malpractice insurance, and opportunities to advance in a high-volume setting alongside experienced emergency medicine providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Active New Jersey PA or NP license.
• Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Perform comprehensive urgent care examinations.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic studies.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing, laceration repair, I&D, splinting, and wound care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the clinical team to provide outstanding patient care.

What You'll Do

• Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan
• Experience performing urgent care procedures, including suturing and I&D
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
