Job summary

Healthcare Recruitment Counselors is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a busy Urgent Care practice in Franklin Park, NJ. This full-time role offers $75-$85 per hour with bonus potential, health and malpractice insurance, and a modern facility with on-site diagnostics.

You'll provide patient care across all ages and collaborate with a team of Emergency Medicine physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active New Jersey PA or NP license.
• Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic studies.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing and I&D.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the clinical team to provide outstanding patient care.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive urgent care examinations
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic studies
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications
• Perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing, laceration repair, incision & drainage (I&D), splinting, and wound care
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the clinical team to provide outstanding patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Active New Jersey PA or NP license
