Job Summary: Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Surgery Institute is seeking a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our growing cardiology practice in Lewistown, Pennsylvania.

Job Duties:

• The Advanced Practitioner will have a practice consisting of outpatient clinic work in Lewistown and inpatient consultations at the assigned hospital. This position offers no call but includes rotating weekend coverage.
• The Physician Assistant candidate must work under supervision of a physician, having completed an ARC-PA approved program, holding current NCCPA certification or eligibility, and possessing Pennsylvania licensure.
• The Nurse Practitioner candidate will collaborate with a physician, holding an approved program certificate or eligible for national certification, and must be eligible for PA licensure.

Position Details:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (Physician Assistant required); Master's Degree (Preferred).
• Experience: Relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Certifications and Licenses: NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants; BLS certification.
