Job summary

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, seeks a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our occupational health team. The role encompasses minor surgical procedures, DOT exams, and pre-employment physicals within a growing nationwide network.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in occupational, emergency, or urgent care settings, strong clinical and communication skills, and an active PA/NP license with a current DEA license.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited PA or NP program.
• Active PA or NP license in the applicable state.
• Current DEA license and CPR/AED or ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor surgical and therapeutic procedures including suturing, injections, immunizations, burn care, and foreign body removal.
• Provide occupational health services including DOT exams and treatment of workers' compensation injuries.
• Conduct pre-employment physicals and other job-related medical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system and serve as a clinical leader for high-quality care.

Schedule & Pay:

What You’ll Do:

• Perform minor surgical and therapeutic procedures, including suturing, injections, immunizations, burn care, and foreign body removal (subcutaneous and ocular).
• Provide occupational health services, including DOT exams and treatment of workers' compensation injuries.
• Conduct pre-employment physicals and other job-related medical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Serve as a clinical leader, ensuring high-quality patient care.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care.
• Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a healthcare team.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in both fast-track and main emergency department settings.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Active PA or NP license in the applicable state.
• Current DEA license.
• BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.
