Starting yearly starting ranges from $99,000 - $140,000 pending licensure and experience.

Daily Expectations and Duties – Overview
  • Diagnosing and treatment.
  • Performing medical examinations.
  • Administrating or directing health treatment procedures as appropriate.
  • Administrating or directing the administration of MAT and other health treatment procedures as appropriate.
  • Ordering labs or tests as necessary.
  • Consults with the CMO, Medical Director, and other Behavioral Health Providers on treatment of patients to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Provides timely progress notes and other medical reports on all patients.
  • Assists with developing and/or implementing in-service training programs designed to upgrade staff\'s knowledge regarding health concerns and new technology in the health care treatment, including substance treatment.
  • Develops policies and procedures regarding medical services and medical components of activities including research, service evaluation and quality assurance in collaboration with the Medical Director.
  • Provides prescriptions for medication within the scope of practice in collaboration with the Medical Director.
  • On an on-going basis, collaborates with staff of other clinical departments within the Agency to afford a team approach to client care promoting continuity and unified goal setting.
Qualifications

For Physician Assistants:

  • Master\'s degree and completion of accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
  • Current licensure and Certificate of Authority to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Ohio required. DOT Cert. and X-Waiver preferred.

For Nurse Practitioners:

  • Master\'s degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program; Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration/Certification
  • Current licensure and Certificate of Authority to practice as a nurse practitioner in the state of Ohio
  • FNP certification preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, all candidates should meet the following:

  • BLS & ACLS certification
  • 2+ years\' experience in family practice environment preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, but also able to collaborate effectively with other staff members to provide quality patient care
  • Behavioral health experience desirable
  • Maintains required training in accordance with the Mainstreaming Addiction Treatment Act (MAT Act)
