Job summary

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for weekend coverage in the greater Pittsburgh area and across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Join a joint program with UPMC Health System, offering collaboration with Rad Techs and Medical Assistants, access to EPIC EMR, POC testing, and on-site X-ray facilities to support efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• 1 year full-time ER or 2 years Urgent Care experience; Family Medicine acceptable
• Comfort with minor procedures and interpreting EKGs/X-rays
• Experience treating newborns and acutely ill patients

Responsibilities

• Will join UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care network in PA and WV
• Work with a clinical team to provide urgent care services
• Weekend Saturday/Sunday shifts with a flexible anchor/home center arrangement

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area, and locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience required. Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Experience treating patients newborn and up in an acute care setting required.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required.
