Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our GoHealth Urgent Care locations in the greater Pittsburgh area and across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Working within the UPMC-GoHealth network, you will deliver high-quality urgent care, perform minor procedures, and interpret basic imaging in a fast-paced environment. GoHealth emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with clinical staff, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years in Urgent Care. Will consider 2 years in Family Medicine.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (suturing, casts, splints).
• Experience treating patients from 6 months+ in acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients in GoHealth Urgent Care centers.
• Perform minor procedures and assist with imaging reads.
• Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants as part of the clinical team.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience required.
• Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting required.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required.
