Job summary

Family Care Network is seeking an experienced ARNP/PA-C to join our urgent care teams across Bellingham, Lynden, and Mount Vernon. The role requires flexibility to travel between three locations to support patient care needs and cover varied shifts.

Applicants should have an accredited ARNP or PA-C program, current WA license, and BLS. Prior urgent care or family medicine experience is preferred. FCN offers robust benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective patient care across three urgent care locations.

  • Perform physical examinations, histories, and order/interpret tests.
  • Administer injections and immunizations; manage wounds.
  • Complete accurate EMR documentation in a timely manner.

Title: ARNP or PA-CLocation: Urgent Care Centers - Bellingham, Lynden and Mount VernonCity: Bellingham, Lynden and Mount Vernon, WAPosition: Full-time, non-exempt (hourly). The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to travel between all three urgent care locations to support patient care needs.Available Shifts:Bellingham & Lynden (Monday-Friday): 8:30am - 6:30pm or 12:00pm - 10:00pmMount Vernon (Monday-Friday): 11:00am - 9:00pmWeekends (All Three Locations): 8:30am - 5:30pmHoliday shifts may be available. Clinics are open on all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas.Compensation: An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) joining a Family Care Network (FCN) Urgent Care Center, will receive an hourly rate in the range of $59.83 - $89.74 per hour, with placement in the range determined based upon experience. The APP will also be eligible to participate in a productivity payment program. We are looking for a qualified, motivated individual with a passion for family medicine who can:Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to deliver safe, effective and therapeutic careCommunicate effectively to all members of the care teamProvide excellent customer service at all stages of patient careAssess patient health; perform physical examinations; obtain, update, and study medical histories; administer or order diagnostic tests; and interpret the resultsPerform therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations, suturing, and managing woundsComplete accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the EMREssential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Skill in subjective and objective assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient careComprehend and communicate information accurately and clearly (verbally, in writing, in person, and by phone) with patients, all levels of personnel, and other individuals and groupsAbility to establish lasting and effective employee relationships in a team environment, including conflict resolutionWork as part of a team that shares and leverages the strengths of its membersAccurately perform detailed work; plan, multitask, organize, and prioritize workEffectively use computer applications for health information systems, EMR, word processing, and spreadsheetsAbility to maintain patient privacy and confidentialityAbility to adapt to process and procedure changesAbility to thrive and grow in a learning environmentRequired Education: Completion of an accredited ARNP or PA-C program. Experience in Family MedicineRequired Licensure: Current Washington State ARNP or PA-C licenseAcquire and maintain BLS certification as per FCN BLS policy.Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger coordination, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and listen attentively. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.Immunization Requirements: Employees are required to meet immunization standards in accordance with federal, state, and organizational health and safety guidelines, as applicable to the role.
