Concentra in Portland, OR is seeking a Physician Assistant to support our occupational health program. You will work under established medical protocols and coordinate with the Chief Medical Officer and clinic physicians to deliver high-quality care to workers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
• PANCE certification required.
• Current PA license in the state of employment.
• Minimum one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical direction and coordination of care within the occupational health program.
• Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results.
• Order diagnostic tests and perform procedures such as injections, wound care, and immunizations.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and maintain comprehensive records.
• Educate and counsel patients on prescribed therapies and health maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain high-quality care and patient experience.
• Communicate effectively with patients, clients, supervisors and peers while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality.
