Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related health field.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
• Current licensed physician assistant in the state where employed.
• Must maintain work state physician assistant licensure throughout the course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient, compiles patient medical data and examination results.
• Orders or administers diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, labs).
• Interprets test results and develops patient management plans.
• Instructs patients on treatment regimens and health maintenance.
• Provides primary medical direction within occupational health program.
• Ensures accurate documentation and quality assurance.
