Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants in Carbondale, Illinois, is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our nationally recognized cardiac care team. You will collaborate with cardiologists and surgeons to deliver cutting-edge care for patients with complex conditions in a hospital/clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
• Controlled Substance license and Federal DEA license may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced cardiac care to patients in collaboration with cardiologists and surgeons.
• Join a team of clinicians in a hospital/clinic setting in Carbondale, IL.
• Manage patient care across the cardiac care continuum.
• Participate in EPIC EMR documentation.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
• Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Physician Assistant Certification is required.
• DEA license is preferred.
