ProHealth Partners in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Family Practice office. This is a part-time, direct-hire role offering $70-80 per hour with Mon/Thu/Fri, 20-30 hours per week.

You will provide comprehensive patient care under a physician, perform exams, develop and adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. A DEA license and BLS/ACLS are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Formación

• Graduate from a Physician's Assistant or NP program with 2+ years of experience.
• Background in Family Practice.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required.
• DEA license.
• BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive patient care under physician supervision, focusing on acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform physical examinations, medical histories, and ongoing assessments.
• Develop, manage, and adjust individualized treatment plans including medication management and preventive care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for referrals, consultations, and diagnostics.
• Document encounters, progress notes, and updates per standards.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests relevant to internal medicine and age-related needs.

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

We are currently looking for aPhysician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Family Practice office located in Long Beach, California.

Job Type: Part-time, Direct hire

Pay: $70-80 per hour

Hours: Mon/Thurs/Fri (20-30 hrs)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a physician, with a focus on both acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform physical examinations, medical histories, and ongoing assessments for patients with a variety of internal medicine concerns.
• Develop, manage, and adjust individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modification, and preventive care strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals, specialty consultations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and treatment updates in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging, screenings) relevant to internal medicine and age-specific patient needs.

Requirements

• Graduate from a Physician's Assistant or NP Program, with 2 plus years of current experience
• Background in Family Practice
• Bilingual Spanish fluency a plus but not required
• DEA License
• Basic Life Support (BLS/ACLS)
