Job summary

California Pain in San Diego is seeking a Physician Assistant with pain management and urology experience to join a growth-focused practice. This role combines advanced clinical management with neuromodulation leadership and a production-based compensation model.

You will evaluate chronic and pelvic pain, manage urologic conditions, assist with InterStim trials and implants, and collaborate with interventional pain physicians to expand neuromodulation services.

Qualifications

• PA-C with active license and DEA.
• 2+ years of Pain Management or Urology experience.
• Direct InterStim experience REQUIRED.
• Procedural environment experience and strong clinical decision making.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage chronic pain and pelvic pain patients.
• Diagnose and treat overactive bladder and complex urologic conditions.
• Independently manage follow-ups and treatment plans.
• Assist with InterStim trials and permanent implants, device programming and troubleshooting.

• Strong Guaranteed Base Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 (DOE)

What You’ll Be Doing

Advanced Clinical Management

• Evaluate and manage chronic pain and pelvic pain patients
• Diagnose and treat overactive bladder, urinary retention, IC, and complex urologic conditions
• Independently manage follow-ups and treatment plans
• Medication management within evidence-based guidelines

InterStim & Neuromodulation Leadership

• Evaluate candidates for sacral neuromodulation
• Perform or assist with InterStim trials and permanent implants
• Device programming and troubleshooting
• Build and expand the neuromodulation service line

Interventional Collaboration

• Work alongside interventional pain physicians
• Assist in advanced procedures as needed
• Participate in practice growth and service expansion
