Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Hamden, CT is seeking a Physician Assistant to float across New Haven County. Qualifications

• State Medical License is required.
• Controlled Substance Registration is required.
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner is required.
• PALS and ACLS Certification are required.
• Minimum 1 year of full-time Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all ages in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, and specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
