Job summary

UCHealth Medical Group in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a four-provider team in a fast-paced clinical and surgical practice. Expect 60% outpatient clinic and 40% OR first assist with inpatient rounding.

The role is full-time, with Monday–Friday scheduling and 8–10 call days per month. Licensure and certifications must be current; EPIC is used system-wide. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree for PA or NP required.
• Unrestricted license to practice in state of Colorado (PA or NP).
• PA-C or NP certification required and maintained.
• DEA permit to prescribe medications.
• Prescriptive authority and provider status with Medicare/Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative team in a fast-paced clinical and surgical practice.
• Outpatient clinic 60%, OR first assist 40%, inpatient rounding.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with 8–10 call days per month.

Education

Master's degree in physician assistant studies

Unrestricted Colorado PA license

NCCPA PA-C certification

DEA permit to prescribe

Master's degree in nursing (NP track)

ANCC or AANPCB NP certification

Unrestricted NP license (state of practice)
