Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a 4-day work week at a Seattle-area facility. The role focuses on rounding in the morning, providing neurosurgical patient care, and being available for weekend 12-hour on-call shifts.

The provider should hold an active state license (or IMLC), DEA certification, and board certification. ACLS and BLS are required; trauma-level operations are at Level 3 with credentialing expected in 30–60 days.

Responsibilities

• Round on patients each morning.

Description:We are seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

The provider will work 4 days a week with occasional weekend call coverage.

Weekend call will involve 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on requested days.

The provider will round on patients in the morning and then be available on beeper call.

The facility has 12 beds in the department.

The expected number of patient encounters per shift is 10.

Candidates must be board certified.

An additional bonus would be the ability to assist in surgical procedures, though this is not mandatory.

The facility operates at a trauma level 3.

Credentialing timeframe is estimated to be 30-60 days.
