BAS HealthCare in Seattle seeks an Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant in Neurosurgery to join a demanding inpatient team. The role covers 4/10s (7:00am–5:00pm) with occasional weekend beeper call (12-hour shifts) and around 10 patient encounters per shift. Credentialing is expected within 30–60 days.

Active WA license or IMLC, board certification, DEA, ACLS/BLS are required, with strong collaboration across specialists to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage working 4/10s per week (7:00am - 5:00pm shifts)
• Occasional weekend beeper call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays, 12-hour days (7am - 7pm), with rounding in the AM followed by beeper call
• Manage approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
• Full-time coverage need starting as soon as privileged, with an anticipated start around October, ongoing likely through next Spring
• Must hold an active Washington State license or active IMLC license
• Board certification required
• DEA required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-60 days
• Long-term housing assistance available with pre-approval required
