Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to join the Interventional Radiology team across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

You will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, covering consultation, inpatient, outpatient, and procedural workflows. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited NP/PA program, MA licensure, national board certification, BLS/ACLS, and DEA registration or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• Current MA NP or PA-C state licensure required.
• National Board Certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and consult for interventional radiology patients.
• Provide patient-centered care across inpatient/outpatient/procedural settings.
• Assist in procedural planning, sedation support, and sterile field prep.
• Perform vascular access procedures and oversee post-procedural recovery.
• Coordinate labs/imaging and post-procedure follow-up with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Join the Interventional Radiology team with deployment across multiple hospital locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire
• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for complex conditions requiring endovascular or image-guided interventions
• Cover the entire continuum of care including consultation, inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and post-procedural settings
• Conduct initial evaluations and consultations for various interventional radiology procedures
• Perform history-taking, physical exams, and monitor post-procedure recovery
• Coordinate post-procedure follow-up care for patients
• Partner with interventional radiologists, surgeons, internists, hospitalists, and critical care teams in a multidisciplinary environment
• Lead patient education, informed consent, and coordination of labs and imaging
• Assist in procedural planning and intra-procedural support including sedation assistance and sterile field preparation
• Perform vascular access procedures such as port placement and line placement
• Perform joint injections and image-guided biopsies including thyroid biopsies and non-focal liver biopsies
• Perform paracentesis, thoracocentesis, and tube checks
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
• Participate in departmental QA/QI initiatives and morbidity and mortality reviews
• Contribute to clinical pathways and protocol development
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program required
• Current Massachusetts NP or PA-C state licensure required
• National Board Certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• DEA Registration required or ability to obtain
• Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or Critical Care required
• Ability to interpret basic imaging studies and vascular anatomy
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical setting
